Dr. Marzec is an Orthopaedic Surgeon working in the West Islip and Bay Shore areas. He graduated from HOFSTRA University with honors in 1978, and from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia in 1982. He completed his internship and residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York between 1983 and 1987, and completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Hughston Sports Medicine Hospital in Columbus, Georgia in 1988. Dr. Marzec is the Medical Director for Riptide Lacrosse, the Team Physician for the Harlem Globetrotters Basketball team as well as for the Long Island Ducks Baseball team. He serves as Team Physician for the West Islip High School, Babylon High School and the East Islip High School, and is also the Chief Medical Officer of the West Islip School District. He holds the title as the Director of Research and Development for Prostar Athletics, and is a Fellow of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthoscopy Association of North America and the Hughston Society.
